Trump rallies in Pennsylvania and hits ‘Enemy of the State” Joe Biden

Donald Trump addressed a crowd in Pennsylvania Saturday night in front of what appeared to be an packed house. Although the rally was intended to support Mehmet Oz’s senatorial race and Doug Mastriano’s gubernatorial, they didn’t appear on center stage. It will all depend on the individual.

Trump swept in against Joe Biden. He ripped apart Joe Biden’s recent national address (see Joe Biden crosses lines in Grotesque National Address), and labeled half of America as “dangers to democracy .”

“.

TRUMP: Biden’s speech was “the most vicious, hateful and divisive speech ever given by a [U.S.] president… You’re all enemies to the state.” If you’re looking for the truth, Biden is an enemy of America. He and his group are the enemy of the state. #TrumpRally pic.twitter.com/ImTkCtTBMS

Trump also said that Biden was like the “devil”, standing before the blood-red lighting, which highlighted his divisionary speech of Thursday. That’s an accurate assessment. It’s not surprising that Biden’s speech was filled with hatred and anger. It was, as I explained in my breakdown, the worst national address that I have ever heard a president deliver, with many older people approving.

The former president moved on to FBI and current DOJ criminal investigations targeting him. He did not hold back.

TRUMP about the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago Raid: “One the most disturbing abuses of power in American history… a travesty justice that made a mockery America’s laws and traditions before the whole world.” #TrumpRally

Calling the raid “shameless”, and a “travesty justice,” Trump said that South American leaders had suggested to Trump that the US would punish their governments if they carried out similar acts. He’s right again. Strange to find people calling Hungary and El Salvador “fascist countries” when they have free elections, but then suddenly being okay with Joe Biden attacking his political opponents. It’s not supposed to cross that line, or at least without something more important and significant than mishandled documents .”

Later Trump made it to the section of the evening that included the candidates. Oz received a less enthusiastic welcome than Mastriano. This bit of humor was added during the introduction to the senator candidate.

TRUMP: “@DrOz did an examination on me… ‘He’s extremely healthy, really a very, very, fine, fit man but, he should lose 20 or 25 pounds.’ He was angry and I stopped speaking to him for many years. #TrumpRally #SaveAmerica pic.twitter.com/dhgSgcUUGt

Trump still endorses Oz, which is a little concerning, although he’s the man and I have been working hard to follow John Fetterman. Trump did not do this, which was my primary critique. Trump spent very little time with Fetterman and his attack on Fetterman was the most gentle.

I’m assuming that Aaron Rupar (the wild lefty who provided the clips above) doesn’t get the joke, but I digress. I was really hoping Trump would spend a good 15-20 minutes just ripping Fetterman. He left so much material on the table. From Fetterman’s support from his parents to his decision not to participate in a debate against Oz, there was so much. Trump is sure to return for another rally prior to election day. I hope he does so with the gloves on, as Fetterman, who is horrible, needs losing.

The night concluded with music playing and Trump’s closing remarks.

Wow. As Trump delivers his optimistic, energetic speech, cinematic music is heard in Pennsylvania. You must see. pic.twitter.com/Ycpk7yYVGf

The president’s speech lasted well over an hour. This is a common occurrence for him. Although I did not cover all of his remarks, most of the rest was what he speaks at rallies. Overall, I thought it was a very effective effort to mobilize the vote in key states heading into midterm elections. It was just a shame that Fetterman wasn’t nailed to the wall.
