UFC: Dana White of UFC Says Jon Gruden Has Nixed Raiders to Send Brady and Gronk to Raiders 2020

Dana White, President

UFC revealed that Jon Gruden, former Raiders coach was unable to sign a deal which would have allowed the team to win the Super Bowl.

In 2021, seven-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady hinted that he was negotiating with a team before he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the deal fell through. Outkick pointed out that no one had ever been able guess which team Brady was referring to until this point.

Enter Dana White to get the cat out. During UFC 278, White said that in 2020 he was on the verge of getting Brady and Rob Gronkowski to jump from the New England Patriots to the Las Vegas Raiders until then-Raiders coach Jon Gruden blew the deal up at the last minute.

” It was close to a deal but Gruden ended it at the last moment and stated that he did not want them. It was chaos! “Las Vegas would have Brady, Gronk in the Bucs’ Super Bowl win. But Gruden blew it up,” White said.

Instead of signing with the Raiders after winning six Super Bowl rings with them, Tom Brady signed for the Bucs. He brought Gronk along, which earned him yet another Super Bowl win.
