Dershowitz: I Voted Against Donald Trump Twice’, but Mar-a Lago Was an Irproper Search’

Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz defended Donald Trump on Sunday after documents were seized from his Mar-a-Lago residence by the FBI.

Dershowitz stated on Fox News Channel’s MediaBuzz that he had voted against Trump twice, and is “looking forward” doing so again. However, he said that the FBI conducted an “improper search”, in order to get documents.

“Look! I have voted twice against Trump. Dershowitz stated that he was looking forward to the opportunity to vote for Trump again, but that he would not compromise either the Constitution or Fourth Amendment. This was an inappropriate search. They ought to have issued the subpoena. Merrick Garland stated that this is what the Justice Department does generally .”

with less intrusive methods

“The affidavit may, if revealed, indicate why a warrant was issued three days or two and a quarter days later than it had been approved. However, right now the burden of proof rests heavily upon the government to support this intrusive search,” said he. It’s not raid. This is a court-authorized intrusive searching. It must be justifiable under both the Fourth Amendment and the spirit thereof.
