Americans die as cartels profit according to Rep. Chip Roy (R.TX), who attacked the Biden administration for its open border policies, claiming that “we’re under invasion” and accusing the Democrats from not caring about the effects of these policies on Americans, and migrants, and criticized the Democrats representing the MIA.
Rep. Chip Roy, speaking Tuesday at the America First Policy Institute’s (AFPI) two-day America First Agenda Summit, blasted the “scourge of moving human beings for profit” all while “the cartels are getting paid thousands of dollars to put these little girls and little boys into the sex trafficking trade — to be put in stash houses in Houston, Texas, San Antonio, Texas, all along the border.”
The Texas congressman criticized Judiciary Committee Democrats for unanimously rejecting an amendment he proposed aimed at increasing penalties for child sex trafficking offenses.
” And for me to simply say that we should raise these penalties and have all of my Democratic co-workers in the House Judiciary Committee voted against it, that tells you everything that you need to understand about the severity and lack of resolve they have to deal with the issue directly,” he stated.
Roy claimed that Democrats don’t care about the effects of open borders on Americans and migrants. He accused them of wanting to be “compassionate”, but not actually doing anything.
” They don’t care about open borders. They care not about the consequences for Americans. He said that they don’t pay much attention to what it does for migrants.

” They want to brag about how they like brown people, when in reality it’s brown people living in South Texas that are suffering the most from wide open borders.
But Roy says that “there are a lot brown people in South Texas who [tired] of being] taken for granted” by the Democratic Party, which likes to take the title of ‘compassion’ and then allow people to die.”
“Talk to the ranchers; talk to the sheriff in Brooks County where they’ve got a mobile morgue with 50 dead bodies of migrants sitting in it right now,” he said, noting the over one hundred dead bodies found last year in that county.
“Talk with the people and ranchers who regularly find migrants dead on their ranches each day,” he said. “Talk to the people who run the human trafficking rings, about what’s happening to little children and how they’re being abused for profit by cartels.”
Calling the Democratic Party “completely MIA”, Roy said that Democrats were “not doing nothing” to address the issue and called the reaction to his amendment “a telling turn.”
The Texas representative stressed the negative impact such policies have on the country.
” The fact is that Americans are dying,” said he. “Americans are getting put into the sex trafficking trade because the power of cartels and the coordination with dangerous criminal elements in our country.”
He also mentioned the country’s opioid crisis.
“One-hundred and seven thousand (107,000) dead Americans from drug overdoses and poisonings – not overdoses – poisonings from fentanyl being pumped into our communities from China through cartels into our country,” he said.
Roy claimed that the U.S. was under “invasion” at its southern border.

” “You are absolutely right! We’re under attack!” he exclaimed. He exclaimed, “Americans are dying. The cartels profit. We should do something .”

” And I don’t just mean Democrats. I also refer to Republicans.” he said. It’s not enough just to complain and discuss it, we must do something .”

Roy also suggested a number of steps to take to fight against the “invasion.”
“Don’t finance the DHS [Department of Homeland Security] when it isn’t securing our borders,” he stated. Don’t make an NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) and claim that America is defended, when in reality we are constantly under attack .”

” And that’s all we have to do,” he said.
In April, Roy called to reject funding a government that refuses to secure the border, pass his discharge petition to preserve the policy that helps border officials regulate the inflow of illegal immigration, and have the Lone Star State “stand up” in the fight to protect the border.
The United States currently faces record-high levels of illegal immigration, with more than 209,000 migrants apprehended after crossing the border from Mexico into the U.S. in March, the highest number of migrant apprehensions for one month since March 2000 — the last year of the Clinton administration.
It also breaks the Biden-era record of 200,658 set in July 2021.
Last month, Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 192,000 migrants who illegally crossed from Mexico, according to government records reviewed by Breitbart Texas.
Since March 1, agents apprehended more than 182,000 migrants in the nine southwest border sectors.
Last year, President Biden set new records for illegal immigration by enticing more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens to take the often deadly journey through Mexico to the nation’s southern border in the hopes of being released into the U.S.
Earlier this year, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was reported to have admitted in private that illegal immigration in President Biden’s first year in office was “worse now than … ever” in American history.
A former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley called to secure the border, stating that if all illegal immigrants were gathered into a new city, it would be the fourth largest in the country.
In April, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) warned the country was heading toward the “biggest migration crisis in U.S. history” as a result of Biden administration policies.
Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-OK, accused President Biden, of deliberately creating a crisis at the border to increase the Democrat voter bloc. He called for an investigation into his actions.
