A former Vice President Al Gore stated Friday, on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360″, that he was “sure” that Attorney General Merrick Galrland, the Department of Justice and the FBI had acted completely appropriately during the raid of the Palm Beach estate of ex-President Donald Trump.
Copper said, “I briefly want you to inquire about what we have learned from the Department of Justice. While executing a warrant, they removed 11 sets classified documents from former President’s Mar-a-Lago home. How did you react to everything we have learned? Do you think this makes sense?
Gore stated, “No. It doesn’t.” However, I must add that I do not know all the facts. Let me tell you, Merrick Garland is my friend. I also know Merrick Garland and don’t think there has been an American attorney general more dedicated to following the law, as per the order. He would not take any rash decision or break the rules. He is a man I trust, I believe in his integrity, and all those who have worked with him feel the same. The FBI and Justice Department have done a great job. As the truth becomes known, we will be able to learn more. “
