CNN host goes on racist tweet-storm against Clarence Thomas

CNN host, and (allegedly), former drug addict Rex Chapman launched into an inflammatory tweetstorm on Thursday against Justice Clarence Thomas.

Chapman had a program on now-defunct CNN+, but still listed on the liberal network’s website. He attacked Thomas with a series insinuations about his race, including photos of Thomas’ wife, as an act of defiance.

Justice Clarence Thomas was present at the Christendom College graduation ceremony with his son, Late Justice Antonin Scalia. 2018.

I find it most amusing that white children and their parents see this as their entrance into Black America.

Why has Clarence Thomas never been to an NBA game? Like — never?

Later: When a user mentioned that Thomas was a “black-white supremacist”, Chapman replied with an on target emoji to indicate that he agree with the criticism.

According to Chapman who is also white, to be truly black you have to do drugs and attend NBA games. You didn’t know that! This is a concise rebuttal.

Clarence Thomas was a Freedman who settled in the town after the Civil War. He spoke Gullah when he was a kid. Thomas grew up in segregated South, and eventually became the 2nd African SC justice. Is it possible that his black experiences would have been more authentic if he had played in the NBA or used drugs? https://t.co/yOxuKt4HAx

The idea that Thomas might not be authentically African because of his differing political views is absurd. We are speaking of a man born during the South’s segregation, who was forced to live in extreme poverty and went on to become one of the greatest Supreme Court justices. Chapman might have you believe this is a tale of black success. Why? Why is it that black people only accept Chapman’s will? This sounds almost like racism.

I want to expand on this, but ultimately it is not about Chapman’s clearly racist views. He is a bigoted, sexist clown who has no control over his emotions. After all, this is a guy who blew $50 million dollars while getting arrested for shoplifting and being hooked on painkillers. This man is a fool and an entertainer.

What this really is about is the media complex, which continues to promote objectively horrible people just because they are able to speak out and have the political savvy to do so. The liberal network did not stop and vet Avenatti or consider whether they had telegraphed a fraudster on their air. The orange man was bad, he shouted and that was enough.

But that should not be sufficient. Newspapers should have some sort of standard. Chapman’s original hire was laughable long before he began to show his racist views. And to be sure, this wasn’t his first brush with such. CNN is not the only one that does this. Chapman was the anchor of its March Madness coverages by NCAA this year. It even published a press release praising it.

In short, Chapman can be a terrible person but the people who enable him to do so are worse.
