FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is going to campaign for several GOP candidates, including J.D. Vance and Kari are the Republican nominees for Ohio’s Senate race.

Mr. DeSantis is scheduled to appear at the two “Unite and Win” rallies that Turning Point Action sponsors. This conservative pro-Trump group targets Democrats.

The appearance of the Florida governor comes amid his rising national profile. There is speculation that he may be eyeing a 2024 presidential campaign, which could lead to a clash with Donald Trump. Trump has already strongly suggested that he would launch another White House campaign.

Turning Point Action Charlie Kirk called Mr. DeSantis America’s Governor and one of the most beloved leaders in the country .”

Mr. DeSantis gained popularity with conservatives after he rejected COVID mandates and lockdowns, and signed laws that ban “woke” corporate training and classroom instruction. He has been vocally critical of Biden’s administration.

Florida Governor Rick Scott’s decision not to run for office in the race to represent Ms. Lake and Mr. Vance, among other candidates “tells us everything we need to know about them,” Kirk stated.

Mr. DeSantis, who is currently in his own reelection race for another term as Governor, enjoys an easy lead in polls over Charlie Crist, his probable Democratic opponent. This allows him more time to campaign in other states and expand his national profile.

On Sunday Mr. DeSantis is scheduled to appear at a New Mexico rally for Republicans Mark Ronchetti (and Yvette Sherrell) who are running respectively for Governor and Congress.

He will take to the stage at Ms. Lake’s rally and Republican Blake Masters’ rally for Phoenix, where he is challenging incumbent Democratic Senator Mark Kelly.

On August 19, Doug Mastriano will be appearing at a rally.

The state’s top GOP candidate Mehmet Oz (celebrity doctor) is also running for U.S. Senate. He is currently trailing Democratic opponent John Fetterman. However, he is not scheduled to attend the rally. Trump has endorsed Mr. Oz, however many conservatives consider him too moderate.

The Florida governor will host a rally later that day for Mr. Vance. Mr. Vance is another Republican who was aided with Mr. Trump’s endorsement and has been out-raised in recent polling by pro-Ryan organizations.
