Jane Fonda claims she is battling cancer and that she’s doing well on chemo

LOS-ANGELES — Jane Fonda announced on Friday via social media that she had cancer.

“My dear friends, here’s something I would like to share with you. I’ve been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and have started chemo treatments,” the 84-year-old actor wrote in an Instagram post.

” This is a very treatable form of cancer,” she said. .”

NonHodgkin Lymphoma ( Non-Hodgkin) is a form of cancer that starts in white blood cells. It affects certain parts of your immune system.

Fonda admitted that she has insurance and is entitled to top-quality care.

” Nearly every American family has dealt with cancer in their lifetime. Far too many people don’t have the same quality care that I receive and it is wrong,” she stated.

Fonda stated that she is currently undergoing a 6-month-long course of chemotherapy and is doing well. She will continue her activism for climate change.

Fonda was a patient of cancer. A tumor was removed from her breast in 2010,. She has had skin cancer.

Part of a legendary Hollywood family, Fonda gained fame for both her acting and her activism starting in the late 1960s.

She was nominated for the Oscars for performances in 1971”s “Klute” as well as 1978’s Coming Home .”
