Professors Blam ‘Racism and ‘Ableism, Threaten Students to Go Maskless

A professor at Northern Illinois University claims that anyone refusing to use a mask inside his classes will be expelled. According to him, wearing a mask indoors is a sign of racism .”

and ableism.

The University of Northern Illinois University physics professor Jahred Adelman sent a message, stating:

“Refusing to mask indoors is a manifestation of ableism and racism, an exercise of individual privilege that tells the most vulnerable that their health and the health of their loved ones does not matter. Masks are mandatory in this situation. They are NOT optional.”

As my colleague Bonchie reported, a study out of Kansas contradicted the mask mandates. The observational study — “The Foegen Effect: A Mechanism by Which Facemasks Contribute to the COVID-19 Case Fatality Rate,” – authored by German doctor Zacharias Fogen, stated:

” The most significant finding of this study was that, contrary to popular belief that masks reduce the risk of infection and that people die less often because they are infected more frequently, it wasn’t the case .”

In February, the CDC said Americans can now go unmasked in “many parts of the country.” We are in September, yet some people still think they can force others to wear masks. It is illegal to impose a mandate. No one can or will force anyone to wear a face mask. Professor Adelman seems to have been distracted by the CDC announcements of late.

My colleague Bob Hoge reported on the utter failure of the CDC’s COVID guidance.

Young America’s Foundation obtained a copy Adelman’s syllabus. It states, in part: “Masks are required AT ALL times in PHYS 253.” According to the syllabus obtained by YAF, it says:

“Masks are required AT ALL times in PHYS 253. This is in the labs. Although it’s not easy, this is necessary for my safety and health, your safety and that of your colleagues and friends. If you do not follow this requirement, you will be asked to leave,”

Northern Illinois, a public university located in Dekalb County (Illinois) The university relaxed its mask requirement in February. However, its website states that faculty members may require that masks be worn within their teaching areas .”

YAF spokeswoman Kara Zupkus said:

“As our nation’s campuses become more polarized with left-wing activists parading as educators, it’s up to us to hold these leaders accountable for their viewpoint discrimination, and ensure that conservative students are able to speak freely in the classroom.”

NEW: @jahred_adelman, an NIU professor, warned students that they would be removed from his class for not wearing a mask–and accusing those opposed to masks of perpetuating “racism” & “ableism.”

Being bare-faced in public indoor settings can be labelled as racist and ableist by other professors. Jessica Nydia Pabon Colon, a professor at SUNY New Paltz, teaches gender and women’s studies. She claims

, just like Adelman.

“Refusing to mask indoors is a manifestation of ableism and racism, an exercise of individual privilege that tells the most vulnerable that their health does not matter.”

Racism shouldn’t be used as frequently as it is by the far-left. The left seems to think that anything they disagree with is racist. People shouldn’t be forced to use a mask. Despite all of the rhetoric about student debt being cancelled to reduce the student loan burden, the mask policy seems to do the exact opposite.
