Kimberly Smith of Colorado hosted her daughter Paisley’s 10th birthday party on August 20. Unmistakable theme was Donald J. Trump.
Smith posted party photos in a private Facebook group of Trump 2024 supporters with the caption, “My daughter begged for a Donald J. Trump birthday. This is America. Freedom, respect, morals, and hard work.” The post has received over 1,000 “likes” and hundreds of positive comments to date. Smith was the first to respond when I wrote her, telling her that I was interested in publishing my story on RedState. I also asked her how her feelings were about Paisley being anonymous and her name. RedState ,
Smith said this.
The one thing Paisley has taught me is that we can’t shy away or be embarrassed of our beliefs and things we stand for. Names are not a problem.
Between Paisley insisting on the Trump birthday theme and her mother refusing to compromise her convictions, I knew Paisley was special and strong.
RedState is told by
Paisley about her Christian faith and her support for Trump. ,
“I choose the Trump theme because he loves God, he makes decisions because of God, he doesn’t want to take away our freedom, he doesn’t care what other people think about believing in God.”
Smith said she supported Paisley’s party theme choice because she understood that her daughter was not just influenced by family. RedState ,
Smith:
“When she was about 8, she saw a speech he was giving on TV. He spoke about America and God to her. She was soon interested in researching him. She began asking questions about politics, and she did her own research. Although my family are Republicans, I wanted to help her understand the reasons so she did her research. She started to really get into it and would know more stuff than I did during the election process.”
Paisley put together the treat bags as party favors for her guests featuring flags that read “Trump 2024.” Her birthday cake featured a bald eagle and American flag, with the words “Making Birthdays Great Again! Happy 10th Birthday, Paisley!” The 10-year-old made sure her birthday party started off right by beginning it with the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, and a prayer. Paisley expressed her satisfaction with the outcome of her party, telling RedState
“I am happy my party turned out good because I love America and want people to love America too and be grateful for our freedom.”
Paisley is a faith-based patriot. She shares her views at school, as well. Paisley carries a backpack with the words “Stand For The Flag, Kneel For the Cross” on it. Smith said that the school children have often commented on her backpack and that they are “very accepting”. She also noted that many of the students were the grandchildren of farmers. Paisley also has an Americana-themed lunchbox with a US flag over a red-and-white 1950’s pickup truck and a pair of American flag cowgirl boots.
Paisley is a fierce believer, as are her classmates. Paisley also knows about the preferred political views of her peers. RedState ,
Smith gives an explanation.
“She preaches to them just about every chance she gets. She knows who every kid’s parents voted for because she makes sure to ask,”
Smith laughs ,
“which I’m sure gets annoying.”
Paisley has other leadership traits. Smith says that Paisley doesn’t want to be like everyone else.
“Paisley doesn’t stand with the crowd. She is her own person. She has always done her own thing. Her friends understand that it’s just who she is.”
When asked to what she would tell the former President, she told RedState ,
that she was a young patriot.
” I would like to thank you for your belief in God, love America, and not lying or cheating America. And, please work hard to become President of the United States again.”
Happy Birthday from RedState, Paisley!
