FORTWORTH, Texas – A 5-year-old boy and girl were shot and killed in Fort Worth. Authorities searched for the suspects on Monday, according to police.

The shooting took place shortly after 2:20 p.m. on Sunday. A vehicle pulled up in front of the house where several people were gathered and opened fire.

The 17- and 5-year-old males were pronounced dead at a hospital, he said. An 18-month-old had minor injuries and was expected to survive.

Noakes requested anyone with video or information to contact the police. He said that authorities would use every resource to locate those responsible.

“That 17-year-old will never graduate, that 5-year-old will never graduate from kindergarten, that 18-month-old will have physical and emotional scars that may stay with him the rest of his life,” he said.
