While the law might be strict, it must always consider someone’s pronouns. This seems to be Iowa’s alleged message from a law school.
According to a tweet by Young America’s Foundation that was posted on Twitter, the University of Iowa’s College of Law (UI) included pronoun education as part of its August orientation.
The image shows a slide that is displayed on large screens in front of an open classroom. The lesson takes advantage of the dark, stormy nights.

The options:
- They/Them/Theirs
- Ze/Hir/Hirs
- Ze/Zem/Zirs
Enjoy trying to fill in all the gaps like an experienced lawyer.

Back to the University of Iowa, Campus Reform notes the law school’s lesson drew criticism online:
One user said, “Where absurdity is the rule, madness will never be far behind .”
Another commenter said, “At the point, this stuff just plain indoctrination.” As if I didn’t get why the Left and higher education obsess about pronouns .”

UI might be trying to get wokeness but there is a very large elephant in this room. In catering to Zem and Hir, it has only brought attention to an absence of inclusion. The school must have at least included all these
- Co, co, cos, cos, coself
- En, en, ens, ens, enself
- Ey, em, eir, eirs, emself
- Xie, hir, hir, hirs, herself
- Ve, vis, ver, ver, verself
- Yo, yo, yos, yos, yoself
Some would decry the lack of kittens, bunself and vampself.
If the University of Iowa wants to go beyond “him and “her”, it needs to do some research before jumping in with both feet. ?-
