The families were furious with Joe Biden’s handling of the events in Afghanistan. They feel it led to their loved ones’ deaths. The families felt that he had disrespected their loved ones by constantly checking his watch during the solemn transfer ceremony.

Christy Shamblin is the mother of Sergeant. Nicole Gee said:

” This was the exact attitude we got at Dover Air Force Base as we welcomed our heroes home. The president looked at his watch. We have been told that the loss of loved ones is acceptable. That’s mind-blowing to .”

Shana Chapell, the mother of Lance Corporal Karem Nikoui, stated that her son’s death was something Biden wanted to discuss more than his own.

Aside from the meeting where they received their bodies, been absolutely nothing.

” We didn’t hear a word from the administration – not one word – and [still] haven’t,” Hoover’s father Darin said. Because of how it happened, we wouldn’t take it. It took six months before the administration began sending letters to families. It was actually a canned letter. Everyone’s copy was identical. It appears that they either photocopied the document or photocopied it and added Mr. Biden’s name. That was all. Nothing personal.”

While the White House released a written pro forma statement, which is the least they’ve done in one year, Biden acknowledged that he didn’t do anything to reach out or talk with the families Friday.

“Have you spoken to any of the family members of the 13 soldiers who died last year in Afghanistan? “

You can clearly see that it does not concern him.

Biden rather than talking with the families was at the door, to meet Jay Leno. We reported. Priorities.

It wasn’t lost on anyone, since one father who had just lost his child called Leno going on insensitive and tone deaf.

REPORTER: “What would you say to the father of a U.S. Marine killed in the suicide attack last year? Jay Leno’s taping of a segment this afternoon with him is inappropriate and tone-deaf, he believes. “

White House Press secretary Karine Jean Pierre claimed that this incident was very personal to Biden. He was so close to it that he could not talk to their families and follow-up on the investigation to see if anyone had been held responsible for the attack within a year.

I don’t like Jake Tapper at CNN, but this is a great quote from him. He said that if Biden really cared about the victims’ families and would follow up after the attack.

CNN’s Jake Tapper says Biden has an “obligation” to the families of the 13 service members killed in Afghanistan to accept “the obvious failures of his administration. “

But Jay Leno’s meeting shows just how much Biden values these things.
