Nikki Fried loses big to Charlie Crist at FL Dem Primary. Now she’ll have to find a new excuse to stalk DeSantis

We’ve written about the bizarre hijinks and plans of Nikki Fried (a Florida Democrat whose goal was to become the next governor). Ron DeSantis will be running for re-election as a Sunshine State Democrat in November. Sadly for Nikki, the universe had already determined that only one of the DeSantis administration-obsessed women running for office in Florida could make it through the primary – and it wasn’t her.

Fried’s dreams are now ruined. She will need to look for another reason to focus on DeSantis or show-up at his events .

Founding Republican Charlie Crist (also a former governor of Florida) will be facing DeSantis on November. Even though Fried’s name was well-known, donors and prominent liberal groups like Emily’s List, AFL-CIO, and others poured money and support to Crist . It turns out that some people are not so serious about the idea of a non-fringe governoral candidate creating and tweeting photoshopped memes calling Fried a “dick-tater”. …

… Insinuating there is a sextap somewhere in the wild is not a good media strategy.

I find it absurd that I must dignify such a thing, but there’s no sex tape. We are sorry. Sorry to disappoint. These types of rumors are something that almost every woman who is successful has to face.

Unfortunately, the race will not be as exciting without Fried’s presence. However, Fried could continue to be a provocateur, or simply obsessively obsessed with someone who doesn’t care about her.
