Florida Flips…DeSantis-Backed School Board Candidates Win Big, Wokeism Hardest Hit

Florida witnessed a remarkable night in local politics and could be a sign of things to come. A number of conservative candidates won races for school boards across Florida .

Earlier in the Tuesday primaries, Governor Ron DeSantis encouraged Floridians get out there and vote for conservative candidates for open positions across Florida.

Today marks the start of Election Day in all key school board races throughout our state. Florida is a leader in proving that education and not indoctrination are the main goals of our school system.

Of the 30 candidates endorsed by DeSantis, 25 won their races. Only a few boards could flip liberally to conservative. They did. Sarasota County’s school board went from having a liberal majority of 3-2 to one with a conservative majority. Miami Dade’s school board also saw their majority change from liberal to conservative. They are now the largest American county to have a conservative school board.

BREAKING : Our endorsed candidates for Sarasota County in Florida won their election.

We just changed the composition of our school board, from a liberal majority with a vote of 3-2 to en bloc conservatives with 4-1.

Congratulations to Bridget Ziegler and Robyn Marinelli.

HUGE – Both our candidates from Miami Dade County in Florida won their election, turning the conservative school board upside down.

Miami Dade has the largest county in America and has a majority of conservative school boards.

Congratulations to Roberto Alonso & Monica Colucci.

Florida’s shocking election results have brought several issues to the forefront.

That we are in an era where national outlets like RedState are reporting on local school board races speaks volumes to just how desperate for change American voters have become. With “social justice”, political rhetoric and offensive curriculum, parents reached their limits. These parents were too pushy. As Americans learn from the hard lessons learned in the past two years due to their pandemic-era excesses, local races are now bitter battlefields.

Florida may have seen results that could be indicative of the future. Other school board races in the United States will also be up for general election. Even if Congress does not get its red wave, America may be experiencing a tsunami from the school boards.

Is this another example of Trump being “same, but different,” when compared to Ron DeSantis’s. There has been a lot of talk about Trump’s ability to change the world and his desire to be a “kingmaker.” He already has many endorsements. How about DeSantis. He may not be the one to crown candidates at a national level as a governor. In an age where federal elections have been overshadowed by local elections, it is telling that Florida’s Governor has had a nearly perfect record of picking winning conservatives.
