Kennedy: Fauci Must Not Seek Asylum In A Foreign Country. He Will Spend Time Before Congress

Monday’s appearance on FNC’s “Hannity” saw Senator John Kennedy (R.LA) predict that Dr. Anthony Fauci, outgoing director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, would spend a lot of his time before congressional committees.

Kennedy said to Sean Hannity, that Fauci should not be going to foreign countries unless he was subpoenaed to Congress by a Republican-controlled chamber.

“Two points, Sean. He said that number one was, as I believe I’ve told you previously, I don’t hate anyone.” He said, “That includes Dr. Fauci. His decision to retire was made in December. I wish him all the best. But, here’s my second point. Unless you have done your Twitter research, it is obvious that Americans are asking many questions about Dr. Fauci and other officials in public health, as well how our government dealt with the pandemic. It was like trying to shut down a door. The Democrats now control the government. They refused to press. The Republicans won’t. Here’s what I predict: Republicans will take either one or both of the houses. And, unless Dr. Fauci decides, whether he is retiring or not to, to seek asylum in an obscure, remote foreign country .”

” Unless Dr. Fauci chooses to seek asylum abroad, where the Powerball jackpot for 287 chickens, and a goat is, then Dr. Fauci will spend a lot time before a congressional committee or committees if Republicans regain control. We’ll ask him questions on gain-of function research. He won’t back down on China’s lies. Kennedy continued. There will be many questions. We will subpoena Dr. Fauci and ask him questions. It would be a mistake for Dr. Fauci not to pay a non-refundable down payment on a cruise .”
