CNN, Politically Correct and Ignorant of Science Declares that ‘Monkeypox is NOT a Sexually Transmitted Infection

Let’s get to the point. The blighted CNN — Also known as The Most Trusted name in News(tm ) — may fire any liberal lapdogs such as Brian Stelter, but so long as it continues to run unadulterated crap this way, it will be in the ratings toilet till it finally gasps for its last politically correct breath.

Now the unpredicted story.

During Monday’s New Day segment, Dianne Gallagher, CNN National correspondent, claimed that monkeypox was not a sexually transmitted infection despite tons and tons of scientific evidence.

Host John Berman (who always appears like a deer at the headlights) kicked off the monkeypox celebrations:

This morning we are taking new steps to reduce the growing number of cases due to monkeypox. Over the weekend, the White House began its pilot program, sending 50,000 doses of the monkeypox vaccine to LGBTQ events nationwide. This morning Dianne Gallagher was in Charlotte, North Carolina. The city hosted Pride events all weekend. Dianne, what did you see?

The North Carolina city’ Pride festival is the launch site of a Biden pilot program to send 50,000 doses of the monkeypox vaccine to LGBTQ-centered events, like Pride, around the country.

[M] Men who have had sex with women, as well as transgender persons, make up the bulk of the monkeypox cases at the moment. This is why the vaccine supplies are being prioritised.

Monkeypox can be contracted from close contact, usually skin-to-skin, with someone infected. If the Biden administration wishes to make its outreach a success it must celebrate and educate without being discriminatory.

Where can one start to expose the “misstatements”, (blank-faced lies),?

As data come in from around the world, a clear picture is emerging of who is being affected by the recent outbreak of monkeypox (MPX): Outside Africa, 99 percent of the cases have been in men, and 92 to 98 percent have been in self-identified men who have sex with men.

A lot of cases reported in the U.S., Europe Union and UK have involved men living with HIV.

MPX in the U.S. overwhelmingly affects Black and Latino men having sex with women. This racial inequality will only get worse if it isn’t corrected as my research shows with HIV.

]It is important to know how sexual infections work in order to be able to stop transmission.

Moreover? As noted by NewsBusters, the article’s author, Steven Thrasher is not exactly “some homophobic, conservative, white man.”

He is actually a gay man of biracial descent who chairs a professor in “social justice”. Also, he has been a winner of National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association Journalists of the Year.

Perhaps Thrasher’s caution that “not naming and researching, preventing, and addressing transmission is occurring” will prevent people from “understanding how to prevent infection and allow for unnecessary worry and exacerbating racist and homophobic socio determinants of Health .”

In other words, it could get worse if people refuse to acknowledge how the virus was spread.

While I know that Scientific American and Steven Thrasher aren’t as qualified to disseminate facts on monkeypox, this episode is one in a series in which liberal media puppets go too far — deliberately — in order to propagate whatever left-wing narratives they currently lie about.
