Brian Stelter’s Final Delusional Rant – Shows Why He Got The Boot

Sunday was the final day of “Reliable Sources”, Brian Stelter and Brian Stelter’s last day on CNN.

The last episode showed exactly what happened and Stelter was fired. He was clearly upset about being canned and his tears became sweeter as he attempted to justify himself.

STELTER : “This tiny but powerful show has surpassed its weight over the years…Reliable Sources was a unique show and very popular.” It is one of the most viewed weekend programs on CNN. pic.twitter.com/t6DqdTjYFm

Curtis Houck from NewsBusters took the plunge for us all and waded in the wreck ..

” We’re only five minutes into Reliable Sources, and we can already feel the hatred and arrogance for conservatives about Stelter and Carl Bernstein claiming that “the truth does not lie”. It’s already been cancelled .”

“Second segment of Brian Stelter’s last show — The risk to journalists’ lives and how dangerous it can be to work in America due to the far-right. Ah, yes. Being a journalist in America is JUST like reporting in China, Myanmar, North Korea, and Russia!” Houck said.

Criticizing or mocking poor CNN hosts doesn’t pose a threat to their safety.

But Stelter wants to create the impression that he is a magical knight fighting for democracy against Donald Trump. It’s false and delusional.

“CNN’s Brian Stelter laments outside criticisms of journalism that have spread across the nation and the globe. He adds he’s “proud” to have worked at a network when they knew they had to fight and attack Trump,” Houck explained.

Is it wrong to critique journalism? Isn’t this what Stelter was meant to discuss? That’s exactly why he left. His show was not that. It devolved into an ongoing attack on Trump and Fox News. It was funny, though. He talked about the reasons why media did not cover important stories. He and Carl Bernstein then reverted to their narrative on “democracy in danger of authoritarianism” (translation: for them, it means Trump).

CNN’s @BrianStelter goes out doubling down on what got his show canceled, bringing aboard @CarlBernstein to charge “more and more we see authoritarianism. Not just in the presidency of Donald Trump, but in the state legislatures, in the campaigns that we’re watching…” pic.twitter.com/1HML3ylflu

As we pointed out, CNN may not be done yet with their axing people as they attempt to right the ship.

His final sign-off was full-on delusion about what his role in media has been over the last few years. He was close to tears at the end.

Final moments for @BrianStelter on @ReliableSources . I know that it is not politically correct to support democracy, decency, and dialog. To stand up against demagogues is not partisan. It’s required, it’s patriotic. We must make sure we don’t give platforms to those lying to our faces.” pic.twitter.com/HdfV9XKzQq

” I know that it is not partisan to support democracy, decency, and dialog. To stand up against demagogues is not partisan. It’s required, it’s patriotic. Stelter stated that we must not give platform to people who lie to us.”

The free world requires a reliable source, he said. He’s been completely partisan for quite some time and was never a reliable source. He might be thinking about why he was given the boot, if he believes that “those lying in our faces” shouldn’t have platforms.

The perfect end was achieved when the lights went out on Stelter.
