The Texas National Guard is doing everything they can to stop illegal aliens crossing the border. This is Texas’ effort to compensate Joe Biden for his failure to stem the flooding. Biden’s team has stopped the Border Patrol doing their job. These numbers are staggering.

But, if you were unsure about the Biden team’s purpose, the actions by Biden’s Border Patrol Wednesday clarified the goals.

The Texas National Guard closed the gate, which was located on private land in the Del Rio Sector to stop illegal aliens entering. They refused to let the aliens in, even though they were backing up towards the guard’s other side. Fox’s Bill Melugin recorded what transpired next after the Border Patrol arrived. After unlocking the gate, the Border Patrol allowed all illegal aliens to enter.

This was when Border Patrol arrived and gave the keys to the migrants. Border Patrol and Texas DPS/National Guard are allowed to operate here thanks to the landowner. The new thing is Texas locking down the gate, Melugin points out.

Border Patrol is open to migrants. This practice has been around for a while. Federal law requires them to handle migrants in the United States. TX has now closed the main crossing point’s gate and denied entry. This video, which I shot in May, was always open. pic.twitter.com/FfWWvoch6r

While Texas is trying hard to secure the border, those who should be guarding it are actually allowing illegal aliens to enter. They have been told to let any person in. Texas is trying to prevent them from entering. The Biden Administration has ordered that this is an open border policy. There’s no way to get around it.

While members of the Texas National Guard are augmenting Texas state troopers who have been deployed to the southern border under Operation Lone Star, they do not have the final authority to prevent illegal entry as that job falls under Border Patrol’s jurisdiction. This isn’t to suggest that the Texas National Guard doesn’t have tried to stop illegal crossings. However, they only have the legal authority to do so.

The Biden Administration just allows everyone to enter and releases them into the interior.

While some are returned under the still-ongoing Title 42 public health order, the majority of migrants are instead released into the U.S. for their immigration hearings, which can take years. Of the 199,976 encounters in July, only 74,573 resulted in a Title 42 expulsions.

The contrast between these two actions was striking, according to Gov. Greg Abbott observed.

While Texas protects its border, illegal immigration is allowed by the federal government.

Virtually, none of these individuals would be eligible for asylum according to our conventional understanding of the term. They are allowed in under Biden. Abbott should send every single one to D.C. for Joe Biden, until Biden makes changes to what he’s doing.
