All things Trump
Former top spy General Michael Hayden claims that GOP members are the worst in the world. Does he stand alone in his profession?
Was Gen. Michael Hayden’s tweet about the ex-CIA director, seen? These comments were made by my friends
.
Yes, imagine. Think about it. Imagine powerful elites such as Gen. Hayden who ran the National Security Agency and have information on every one of us. (If you haven’t read Edward Snowden you should), thinking that conservative Americans are more dangerous than Islamic terrorists, communist fanatics like North Korea, Putin’s Russia or the Iran of the Ayatollahs. Gen. Hayden believes Republicans are even worse. The worst Nazis are: Here’s his tweet about Trump’s decision to temporarily seperate children from law-breaking immigrants at the border.
Think about it. To understand the Trump Administration’s policies, you don’t need to be a supporter. However, Gen. Hayden now believes that Republicans are among the most dangerous on the planet. Hayden was America’s highest spy.
It’s impossible to believe that this opinion is held by anyone other than him in his profession and his class.
Are there institutions in the country that can be trusted and aren’t used against an American family or individual? All those people who came to America from Communist countries seeking freedom, and who are now speaking out, saying that America is turning into a version of what they left behind (this is what my book Live Not By Lies is about) — they see it. They can see the actions of the ruling class and the Cathedral. Do you?
This is why, even though I do not trust Donald Trump in any way, and I long for him to leave, the US Government agencies’ narratives about him are quite troubling. They cannot believe that they are telling the truth even if it is.
You want to discuss nihilism Five former CIA directors — including Gen. Hayden — and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, all signed a public letter prior to the 2020 election, saying that stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop were probably Russian disinformation. The lied. To get Joe Biden elected, they lied. They must have been aware they were lying. Being an idiot is not enough to get you up the ladder of spy service leadership.
Why do we believe a damn thing elites like Michael Hayden say about anything? Are they aware of how discrediting core American institutions they are doing? Hannah Arendt stated that a general loss of faith and trust in the institutions of a country is indicative for totalitarianism. It is possible that it will happen in the future, but we must remember Gen. Hayden’s role and his professional elite in helping us get there.
