Report: Trump’s Surprising Private Message to Merrick Garland after Mar-a-Lago Raid Unveiled

Welp, now it’s getting really interesting, America. It was the FBI raid at Donald and Melania Donald’s Mar-a-Lago private home. According to multiple sources, Trump sent an encrypted message to Merrick Garland, Attorney General, on Thursday before a Justice Department news conference. Get some popcorn!

A person who was close to Trump reached out at a Justice Department official to send a message for Garland shortly before the conference. As reported by The New York Times, the message Trump wanted to be passed to Garland reads:

The country is on fire. How can I reduce heat?

Let speculation begin. I am happy to start.

I was stunned when I saw the message. I thought it would be funny, especially since Trump is often surrounded by detestable legions. After I read the message, I thought, “If it is true, why would he do that?” To Merrick Galrland , all people. It was a legitimate question from a legitimate concern.

Trump was really concerned about the country being “on Fire” — the fire with which he lit during his presidency, and after the 2020 elections — or did he simply wonder what he could do “to reduce the heat?”

Or, was it a ploy by Trump to appear reasonable to Garland as part of an attempt to engineer some sort of amends? It’s impossible to know, and I doubt it. I won’t speculate.

I don’t mean to misunderstand. I am not suggesting that any of these would have been incorrect on Trump’s behalf, but there are still questions. It is simply the opposite of Donald Trump many have grown to love and know over the past seven years.

And as we reported Thursday, the key query is still:

Why was Mar-a-Lago searched by the FBI just two months after Trump received a secret grand jury subpoena from the FBI for classified documents belonging the National Archives. He then gave up and voluntarily turned over the requested documents. Multiple people were present and some said that Trump had extensively cooperated with federal agents. He also gave security footage from his private storage box to the FBI.

What has changed in the past two months?

If Trump was willing to cooperate and provided extensive information to the DOJ, the DOJ decided that additional information would be needed, such as documents Trump may have failed to supply the first time. Why not issue another subpoena instead of conducting a complete raid? While these are valid questions and a little rhetorical given Trump’s past inexcusable tactics against him,

The decision by Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice to conduct a raid on Mar-a-Lago appears neither justified, based on what we know, nor does it track with the DOJ’s past non-decisions in situations not involving Donald Trump. This would be an egregious double standard in justice if Garland’s “final OK”, which he stated he gave only during Thursday’s news conference, was based upon Trump’s alleged removal from the White House of classified material.

Where was the raid on Hillary Clinton’s home, after a software manufacturer bragged that his product — Bleachbit — was used to delete more than 33,000 emails from a private email server Hillary used for official State Department business, in clear violation of government policy? Amazingly, Hillary claimed that the emails deleted contained no work-related information, such as yoga and planning for her daughter Chelsea’s wedding.

Donald Trump’s private home is searched, two months after Trump voluntarily agreed to cooperate with a subpoena. In addition, violations of the Presidential Records Act in the past have been generally punished with administrative fines. This does not include raids on homes or criminal prosecutions.

Maybe, there are valid reasons why Trump is being treated with a double standard. Perhaps the raid on Mar-a-Lago wasn’t the end of Trump’s TDS-ridden Democrat Party witch hunt.

A witch hunt began long before Donald Trump was sworn in as President.
