Marble Halls & Silver Screens with Sarah Lee Ep. 134: The “MAL Raid”, Elvis and Transing of Joan of Arc” Edition

To call it raid or not. This is the real question.

Nine hour search through Melania’s closet with an alleged healthy weapon and raid seem like appropriate words for the FBI operation at Mar-A-Lago last Wednesday. They were ostensibly looking for nuclear secrets that Trump would sell, which the left-leaning tinfoil-wielding spies insist was connected to them.

The truth could however be less hidden if you listen to some podcasts and read reports from Just The News from ex-Trump insiders such as Kash Patel. Some outlets have suggested that FBI might have sought documents regarding the scandalous Russia collusion investigation, which the agency played an insignificant role in. These documents could a) increase public disgust at the agency’s conduct and b) pose security risks because they might not have been properly redacted.

Here is John Solomon about the subject just before Trump was taken to his home by the federal police.

The previously untold story of how highly anticipated declassified material never became public is contained in a memo obtained by Just the News from the National Archives that was written by then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows just hours before Trump left office on noon of Jan. 20, 2021.

Meadows’ memo confirmed prior reporting by Just the News that Trump on Jan. 19, 2021 declassified a binder of hundreds of pages of sensitive FBI documents that show how the bureau used informants and FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and misled both a federal court and Congress about flaws in the evidence they offered to get approval for the investigation.

The declassified documents included transcripts of intercepts made by the FBI of Trump aides, a declassified copy of the final FISA warrant approved by an intelligence court, and the tasking orders and debriefings of the two main confidential human sources, Christopher Steele and Stefan Halper, the bureau used to investigate whether Trump had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

In the end multiple investigations revealed that there had not been any collusion. The FBI also misled FISA Court officials in order to continue the investigation.

The story basically describes how Trump declared the documents declassified. Although the DOJ was concerned about redactions Meadows agreed and let the DOJ redact the documents. However, the DOJ never did. The alleged documents were never made public. These documents may be — or not — we haven’t yet seen the affadavit.

What a disappointing conclusion to Russia’s collusion case. While the politics are fascinating to follow, this absurd drama has not served or protected American citizens. It is a terrible shame.

I discuss all of that today on the show as well as thoughts about the entertaining “Elvis”. (trailer down). Of course, I was not letting the tale of the creative geniuses make Joan of Arc a non-binary, narcissistic, gazing person. is a great joke. It’s all so silly.

The show lives on Spotify and you can also find me at iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, FCB Radio’s Spreaker, and Deezer.
