Adam Schiff is a bit confused when asked why they waited 18 months for a FBI raid

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-CA — the man who unfortunately for the country is the Head of the House Intelligence Committee — was on Face the Nation on Sunday, along with Margaret Brennan.

Brennan asked Schiff about the FBI raid on President Donald Trump and she asked a terrific question, the same question that so many of us have been asking — if this was truly the “national security” issue they are trying to portray it as now, why did they wait 18 months? Another point I would add is that they waited three days to execute the warrant they received on August 5.

There is no evidence that any “nuclear documents” were found in warrant. There’s only one “sources report” from Washington Post. Brennan asked, “What changed that made it immediate?”

Why did the DOJ wait 18 months to retrieve the sensitive documents Trump kept? “I don’t know, but if the Trump people represented that they provided all the classified or national security information and didn’t, that’s a serious problem,” Rep. Schiff tells @margbrennan pic.twitter.com/4ntVrqtaaR

Schiff seemed confused. He didn’t know the answer, because it wasn’t there. He said, “Uh. I don’t understand.” That’s not the real question. It is not being answered by either he or the DOJ.

Then Schiff attempted to change the emphasis and spin: “If the Trump people claimed that they gave all classified or national security information but didn’t,” Schiff said. You could ask me any member of the intelligence community who had documents such as those marked top secret SCI in their home after authorities visited them. They would then be subject to serious investigation .”

No one has claimed that Trump’s people said they had all the documents but didn’t. Evidently, they knew that they had the documents they needed, as they visited June. This is Schiff showing his Shiftiness once again.

But, the second portion of his statement — and it cannot be repeated enough — is about Hillary Clinton. We need to discuss the striking differences between how the FBI handled her and what they did to Trump. Hillary Clinton used a private server in order to hide her communications from the government. She had all kinds of classified information on it, she destroyed more than 30,000 emails and her team smashed their blackberries. Trump being sent documents from the GSA doesn’t come close. Trump was working with the GSA to return any documents they requested, and not destroy them. He didn’t use a private server, unlike Hillary Clinton. This was to prevent review. He said that they only had to ask. They’re still going after Trump, but Clinton was given a pass.

Here’s some humor that will make you laugh.

With the FBI’s raid of Trump’s private residence, I wanted to repost a video that I did back in 2016 showing James Comey of the FBI letting Hillary off the hook for mishandling classified info. Insane hypocrisy!

Then Schiff said that he did not know anything about Trump’s declassifying of things.

Schiff has been dishonest again. Trump knows this. This is an example of the way he classified Crossfire Hurricane documents, which Schiff doesn’t mention.

Then President #Trump issued this memorandum 1/19/2021 on declassification FBI Crossfire Hurricane records. Circulated to AG and DNI. CIA. After complete Mar-a-Largo holdings are catalogued, this may be of interest. https://t.co/riiagd8ct6 pic.twitter.com/T8YKrZptS7

There have been reports suggesting that FBI might have looked at the Russia probe.

Trump claims he has declassified additional information. The bottom line is that Schiff is a spokesman for Trump and we are referring to the 2-tiered justice system again.
