Britney’s ex-husband is convicted for aggravated theft in a wedding raid

VENTURA (Calif.) — Britney Spears’ former husband was convicted of battery and aggravated trespassing at her June wedding.

Jason Alexander , , pleaded not guilty to two California misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to the 64 time he had already spent in prison by the Ventura County Judge.

Prosecutors have dropped the charges of misdemeanor vandalism and felony stalking.

Spears wed Sam Asghari, her long-time boyfriend, at her Thousand Oaks home, California on June 9 in front of several dozen people, including Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore as well as Paris Hilton, Madonna, Madonna, and Paris Hilton.

Alexander was a childhood friend to Spears. She married him for three days less in 2004,. Spears filmed the wedding livestreaming from Instagram and he appeared at the ceremony uninvited.

He entered the house, and climbed up to Spears’ bedroom door when she was getting ready to get married. According to preliminary testimony.

Alexander wouldn’t leave the property after being told. He also beat a security guard trying to take him out and damaged a door.

After he filed his plea, the judge gave him a new protective order prohibiting him from entering the 100 yard of Spears and/or Spears’ security guard.

Alexander’s lawyer, Sandra Bisignani did not respond to an email requesting comment. In court, she stated that there wasn’t any evidence that he intended to harm Spears.

Spears’ lawyer declined comment.
