Former President Donald Trump called for the “immediate disclosure of documents” regarding the FBI’s raid of his Florida residence.
Trump made the statement on Thursday night, after Attorney General Merrick Galrland had broken his silence and disclosed that the Department of Justice (DOJ), had moved to unseal the search warrant for the Mar-a-Lago raid.
“I will not only oppose the publication of documents related the unAmerican and unwarranted raid and break-in at my Palm Beach, Florida home, Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, but I encourage the immediate release of these documents even though they were drafted by radical left Democrats, as well as possible future political enemies, who have a powerful and powerful interest in attacking and attacking me much like they did for the past 6 years.” the ex-president declared.

The FBI executed a search warrant Monday at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, sparking a flurry of reactions and swift condemnation from Trump and his allies. The DOJ and Garland remained quiet on Thursday about the news.
Garland stated that during Thursday’s brief statement, the DOJ had pushed for the unseal of the search warrant. He said that Trump and his lawyers confirmed the search and provided details about “the surrounding circumstances .” The property receipt is a document federal law requires that law enforcement agents leave with the property owners.” The department moved to publish the receipt and warrant in light of former President Donald Trump’s confirmation of the search and surrounding circumstances .”.
Trump’s son Eric told Fox News shortly after the search , that the matter was connected to an investigation by the DOJ into possible mishandling documents. Trump and his staff have yet to release the search warrant.
