Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams calls for Gov. Brian Kemp must be held accountable for the soaring prices of consumer goods. Those on the right should point out that Mr. Kemp does not occupy the White House.
“In Brian Kemp’s Georgia, rents are sky-high, inflation has destabilized the economy, and groceries prices have become increasingly expensive,” Ms. Abrams tweeted on Tuesday. He can point his finger at anyone he wants, but this economy is not .”

Amid the backlash against Ms. Abrams was Senator Ted Cruz (Texas Republican).
“A Democrat finds that inflation in America is on the rise,” tweeted Cruz. She doesn’t know why .”

The conservative website RedState carried the headline “Stacey Abrams Makes A Disqualifying Self-Own to Attack Brian Kemp .”
“I don’t know much about economics and have not won the Nobel Prize, but it’s how I think this all works.” Sister Toldjah stated on RedState. She could have put Joe Biden’s America where Brian Kemp’s Georgia would have been correct, but last I checked Gov. Kemp is not a governor of a state. He does not have any control over the federal monetary policy .

Ms. Abrams attempts to blame the rising cost-of-living on the governor starts with Mr. Kemp bashing the “Biden recession”, and the “Biden–Abrams agenda” all while praising the state’s economic performance during his term.

Ms. Abrams stated Tuesday that she would like to use the state’s surplus budget on things such as Medicaid expansion and she supports legalizing sports gambling to help spend more on education.
The latest FiveThirtyEight polling average posted Tuesday shows that Mr. Kemp is leading Ms. Abrams at the gubernatorial race by 49% and 44%..
According to the Labor Department’s Consumer Price Index, the inflation rate fell from 9.1% to 8.5% during June and July. President Biden claimed Wednesday that there was “zero inflation” in the United States. .”
