Farage Expresses “Shock” at Trump’s Home Raid

Brexit Firebrand Nigel Farage expressed shock at the raid yesterday on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

Brexit politician and architect Nigel Farage expressed shock at Monday’s FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. The veteran populist firebrand called it “appalling.”

On Monday, FBI agents entered the home of former President Donald Trump and forced them to open a safe. Trump lamented that nothing like this had ever occurred to him before.

This sentiment Farage expressed full agreement with. The GB News commentator said that the raid showed that Donald Trump is fearful of the American establishment.

I will be on @GBNEWS at 9. 20am to respond to the appalling raid on Mar-a-Lago. Are America’s Banana Republics on the horizon?

“No former president has ever been treated like this,” Farage said during a Tuesday morning interview with GB News, with the former Brexit Party leader emphasising that even former disgraced President Richard Nixon, who was caught spying on his Democrat colleagues, was never this harshly treated.

“They’re scared he’s going to come back, his party will storm the midterms, and he’s coming back to the White House in ’24,” he continued.

Farage ridiculed even the justification of the FBI raid. The longtime friend of Donald Trump claimed that, while there wasn’t a conspiracy to the January 6 events and no evidence of such a conspiracy, the notion that sensitive documents would have been stored at Trump’s house is absurd.

“Does he really think, if he’d taken documents that they would be kept at Mar-a-Lago? He laughed. It’s absurd !”

Farage expressed serious concern about the possibility of a violent backlash by a divided American public who has become accustomed to street violence and rioting having a place within its democratic system.

” The danger and worry is that America is so divided, and that we are seeing a preponderance towards street violence growing. I worry it might provoke some kind of violent reaction,” said he.

However, Farage, who was the architect of Britain’s departure from the EU, concluded that the raid would play directly into Trump’s hands during the next elections. Farage stated that many people will be very concerned about the FBI’s actions.

“To any fair-minded person, they’re going to say ‘how on earth can this be happening in 21st century America? We are what? He said, “A banana republic.”

“The electorate will be very supportive of Donald Trump .”
