Los Angeles Woman Suspected of Stabbing to Death, Flees in White Minivan

CANOGA PARK, Calif.–A woman in her 40s was stabbed to death Aug. 7 in Canoga Park and police are looking for the suspect, a man who fled the scene in a white minivan, authorities said.

The two men had an altercation before the stabbing. Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), reported that.

Officers responded at 5: 26 a.m. to the area of Bassett Street and Canoga Avenue, where the woman was pronounced dead at the scene from a stab wound in the chest.

Police stated that the death was not caused by a carjacking.
