John Legend Blames Kanye West’s Fallout on Trump Support, Bid for Presidency

Left wing pop singer John Legend spoke out about their disagreement with Kanye West. He blamed West for supporting President Donald Trump’s bid and subsequently losing the election for their discord.

John Legend spoke out about his relationship to Kanye West during an interview with the Axe Files podcast hosted by David Axelrod, a former official in the Obama administration.

“We aren’t as close as we once were because of our disagreements on Trump’s running for office. Legend stated. It became impossible for us to maintain our friendship .”

Legend stated that he did not endorse West’s bid for office.

“He was unhappy that I did not support his bid for the presidency of the United States of America. This is understandable,” the singer stated. He was also upset, though he wasn’t the only one. We haven’t seen each other since then .”

John Legend supported Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), but he switched to Joe Biden when Warren dropped out. Legend supported Biden through hosting fundraisers.

The singer performed even at Biden’s first festivities.
