Report: A naked 80-year-old protests a Biological Man in her YMCA shower, and gets banned for bigotry

The look of shower rooms has changed. Christian associations have also changed.

Julie Jaman completed a recent swim at Mountain View Pool in Port Townsend. She heard a voice from the other side of the shower as she was getting ready to go. The voice of a man was reportedly what she had seen. She looked up and was shocked by the sight.

[O]n Tuesday, July 26, 2022, [Julie] was swimming when the…aquatics manager, Rowen DeLuna, told her that a group of children were going to use her lane. She ]…went into the ladies’ showers. Private showers are not available. The showers are located in one area, so users have to use them all. Each shower stall has light curtains that do not offer much protection from others’ eyes. You can see both in and out.

Julie heard a low male voice while she was getting ready to shower. Julie saw a man in a swimsuit worn by a woman very closely. She says that he was looking at four young girls in the area.

[She] said she was stunned. “There were gaps between the curtains, and there was me naked with soap water and water — and this man, very close to me .”

She asked a question. “Does your penis ?”

?”

“He replied, “That’s not your business.” I then told him to get out of there, .'”

Julie spotted Rowen, Aquatics Manager at her stall. Julie demanded, “Get him off here .”

Not as she hoped.

[Rowen] replied …” You’re discriminating and can’t use this pool any more. The police .”

have been called.

[Julie] recollects being naked, shocked and wet while standing there.

Curiously, the Young Men’s Christian Association runs the pool. It turns out that Clementine, the male shower-room attendant was actually a Y employee.

[Clementine] did not display anything identifying him as a YMCA employee. Julie doesn’t remember ever getting dressed or drying off. To leave, she exited from the showers and went into the foyer.

Rowen stated, “You are not following our values and principles .”

[Julie] stated that she had concerns over her lack of dignity, and the fact she felt unsafe when she was vulnerable. Concerns were raised by her about [Clementine] showing naked little girls to her. She expressed her concern about the little girls being naked in front of [Clementine] but Rowen dismissed it by sharing her past trauma.

Another staff member from the Y appeared and told Julie she could not leave. Rowen did the same.

Julie had another idea which she succinctly shared:

“Bullst!”

She declared that she would go to the police, which she did. She filed a report at the station with Officer Titterness.

She also called Wendy Bart, Olympic Peninsula YMCA CEO. Wendy claims that a Y employee claimed Julie said to Clementine: “You’re going [flipping] your penis in these little girls.” (Julie refutes the claim).

Wendy further explained that all males can enjoy the time spent in the ladies’ shower by posting “Pride” signs.

On August 1st, Julie — who is 80 years old and a 35-year Y member — appeared before the Port Townsend City Council (see the video here):

She was very passionate:

” In an attempt by the city to enforce the neocultural gender norms at Mountain View pool dressing/room-shower facilities, both women and children are at risk.

” My experience after swimming was to see a man wearing a woman’s bathing suit and watching as little girls took off their swim suits to go to the bathroom. I told him to get out of my way. The result was that I was banned from the pool.

“There are no signs informing women that the shower rooms now have an all-gender layout… Parents also don’t know what to expect… There isn’t any option for dressing/showering women who don’t want to expose themselves to males who identify as females.

” It is absurd that the YMCA instigated these policies without informing parents and patrons. They have taken over binary labels…which leaves no choice. It seems that the staff has not been trained in how to deal with the resulting culture shift. This is especially true for older women patrons and vulnerable children. It is wrong. The YMCA, the city, the police and sheriffs, the parents, the professionals who assist victims of voyeurism, peeping toms, pedophilia and assault need to come together to figure out how to make the new policies work for all pool patrons, not just one group.”

“It’s ironic,” she said, “that women discriminate in situations that threaten their safety or children — a message of our ancestors — have now been accused discrimination as though they made another victim .”

She explained to the council that it was important to use intelligence and wisdom when applying the rules, and that policies should be inclusive .”

It appears to me Julie’s expectations were misguided. The society will choose a side and our institutions have already done so. The idea that every facility will build a third bathroom/locker room is absurd. It is impossible to imagine a world where males and females can both be women, and “inclusion” implies that everyone agrees to have a third shower/locker room.

We have come to a crossroads. Women like Julie, if Americans permit the revolution turn, will need to learn to use penises and share a common plain view.
