Former Gov. Former Gov. John Kasich (Republican from Ohio) stated Wednesday, on CNN’s “Situation Room”, that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee was ashamed of spending money to support Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI), who lost to Trump-backed challenger John Gibbs.
Guestanchor Pamela Brown stated, “Governor Kasich! You have Arizona, Michigan and Nevada. Republican election deniers could soon oversee elections. ?”
How dangerous is that?
Kasich stated, “It is very dangerous and I hope that they all lose. What good will it do for the election if you refuse to accept the results of the last one? They all should lose. This is a terrible thing. It’s also interesting to note that Meijer was defeated by Gibbs in Michigan. The Democratic Party put money into Gibbs because they believed he would be weaker and were able defeat Meijer. Meijer actually stood up for Trump and voted to impeach him. You can figure it out now. This is a bit crazy and will not be good for the future. .”
Brown stated, “It is a great risk. It’s true. It’s true. It is a pretty sure bet that Meijer would lose the general ?”

Kasich stated, “Think of how absurd this is. It is totally absurd. Democrats that say they support reasonable Republicans running for office will then vote to defeat a reasonable Republican candidate and elect a Trumper. This is insane. Shame on them. This is not how it should have been .”
