Biden declares an emergency in public health just in time for the election

The Biden administration has declared Monkeypox an emergency of public health. On Thursday, that was the consensus as fears about Monkeypox continue to grow. This is mostly due to the fact that health officials and media outlets refuse to disclose the true risks.

And all this just in time to the November elections.

BREAKING – Biden Administration to Declare Monkeypox A Public Health Emergency – WaPo

To the leftwing hyperbolics, Monkeypox being declared a public emergency is common sense. It’s totally absurd and politically implausible to the rest of us. If you go to the CDC’s tracker, there have been a total of just 6,617 cases of the virus in the entire United States as of this writing. It’s not a large number. But, it becomes even more absurd when you consider the deaths. There were zero deaths due to Monkeypox within the United States. However, there have only been nine cases of the disease in all of the world, despite it being around for several months.

Monkeypox isn’t considered to be deadly, regardless of how widespread it may spread. It is not a problem in nations with first-class healthcare systems. Is this an emergency that warrants government declarations?

Then, there is the question of the spread of the virus. Monkeypox’s primary vector is a group of strange men who have sex with each other. This is not disputed. Call them bathhouses, call them orgies, or call them pride events but that’s where somewhere around 95 percent of cases are coming from.

And what was the reaction? It’s a shocking act of hypocrisy.

Sex has been a key driver in the worldwide monkeypox epidemic. However, long-standing HIV activists and health professionals say that calls to abstain don’t work. https://t.co/6zeOcARfdY

The same people who told you to not leave your house and to wear a mask for two years over COVID-19 now want to assert that telling gay men not to go to bathhouses is just not workable. It’s no wonder that the public health system is distrusted.

So, why all of this? It is partly because the Biden administration doesn’t want to be blamed for not taking action against its far-left base, doubled-masked and quadruple vaxxed hypochondriacs. It also includes November’s election. How better to justify yet another low turnout on election day, which favors Republicans heavily, than to panic about Monkeypox being easily transmissible? That assumes that some states won’t attempt to amend their electoral laws, which could be a possibility. Do you want to see more drive-thru voter?

This whole thing is ridiculous. Based on what we know, Monkeypox can be considered a sexually transmitted disease. A virus that spreads rapidly through one act and has not killed anyone in months isn’t something you would declare a national emergency for. They could shut down churches to COVID and the bathhouses would be closed for several weeks. They won’t, which is a sign of how stupid and hypocritical our “experts in health” are.
