Scalise: Dem Rep. Sanchez at Flipping Bird @ GOP: “They’ve Been Frustrated With Themselves”

In a Friday interview on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) sounded off about the GOP’s 10-0 drubbing of the Democrats in the annual Congressional Baseball Game.

” I think this is an indicator of what’s coming in November,” Scalise stated, anticipating a huge victory for Republicans in the midterm elections.

Host Sandra Smith questioned Scalise regarding Rep. Linda Sanchez (D–CA), who appeared to turn off her GOP colleagues while she was walking by them during the game.

Scalise stated that he didn’t know why Sanchez displayed poor sportsmanship, but did say that he knew the Democrats had been “frustrated with themselves” .”

” Was there anything said to Sanchez when she did this?” Smith inquired.

” I don’t know,” Scalise responded, “but they’ve been frustrated by themselves. They’ve kind of been doing this metaphorically for the American people for over a year with terrible policies. People are fed up of what they have been doing. You can see the inflation spiralling out of control and gas prices rising out of control. Perhaps they are finally tired of what they have been doing, and the damage it has done to their families. .”
