Journalist Andy Ngo is a journalist who documents Antifa violence across the nation, but got his start in Portland. He released this clip showing a number of residents complaining about the homeless camps in their city. Even worse, whenever contractors attempt to clean up or sanitize these areas, Antifa attacks them without any reprisal from Portland authorities.
I previously reported on how #Antifa carried out an attack on a Portland bio-cleaning business contracted with the city. These attacks were revenge on businesses’ efforts to clean up homeless camps. These sites have been filled with hypodermic needles. https://t.co/iZQaks8DS9

There’s two options for responding to these situations as an outsider looking in. These people may be in difficult circumstances. There is no way for them to make immediate changes as they live among homeless encampments, which bring rampant crime and sickness. On the other hand, it is possible to observe that Portland is among the most far-left and blue cities in America. This could be because its citizens, which includes likely all of that video, vote for Democrats that only make things worse.
Take a look at my response.
In 2020, Portland’s mayoral contest came down to a radical Democrat named Ted Wheeler and an open communist named Sarah Iannarone. Those two candidates gained 86 percent of the vote, with the communist only losing by less than six percent (40. 76 percent of the total vote).
I don’t want to share a meme about sowing and reaping because of its language, but you should be able to see the general theme. When you’re virtue-signaling by supporting a communist candidate and speaking out about marginalized communities, it can be all good and dandy. When the homeless camp takes control of your neighbourhood and your house is made less valuable, it’s quite a different story. It’s clear that being awake is not all it seems to be.
And, frankly, unless Portland residents change their voting patterns and stop electing Democrat officials that value chaos over order, then they are not worthy of sympathy. In this case, you get what your vote is for. Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting to get a different outcome. Voters who get fed up can show that they’re not insane by voting in the next election. Good luck until then.
