Mark Levin, Fox News Channel’s host of “Life, Liberty & Levin,” slammed the ongoing investigation by the January 6th committee into the riot at U.S. Capitol.
Levin called the hearings “illegitimate”, and stated that there had been no learning in eight primetime hearings by the committee on wrongdoing of former President Donald Trump.
” What did this hearing teach us? Levin explained that the hearing was illegitimate. This January 6th hearing was not only illegal because of all the reasons I’ve discussed in the past (lack of opposition, exulpatory evidence and cross-examination), but also because Congress isn’t supposed to do this .”

He said, “What have we learned?” We’ve learned absolutely nothing from eight hearings and public hearings. Nothing. Everything we already knew. There are some small things. You know what, I’m sorry? This is incorrect. This has been confirmed by these hearings. Donald Trump did not play any direct part in January 6th violence at the Capitol Building. Zero. How do we find out? They haven’t presented any. They have seen videos. Texts were also available. They have had graphics. They have had email. They have had papers. They had witnesses. Can you recall a sentence in which Donald Trump ordered or encouraged violence? Not innuendo. It is not opinion. It is not inference. Not inference. You haven’t, because there isn’t any .”
