Report: Hunter Biden Investigative Hits the ‘Critical Stage”

We’re curious about what happened to the Hunter Biden investigation that has been ongoing for over four years.

Fox News now reports the investigation is at a “critical phase” — the Delaware U.S. attorney David Weiss had been considering charging Hunter Biden, after last month’s term ended. However, he has not yet made a decision.

A source said Wednesday to Fox News that Weiss and Justice Department officers were looking at whether Hunter Biden should be charged with tax violations and more serious, foreign lobbying offenses. According to the source, Hunter Biden may face false statement charges.

However, the source stated that Hunter Biden has not been charged and added that they are still investigating.

Fox News first reported in December 2020 that Hunter Biden was a subject/target of the grand jury investigation, according to a well-placed government source. A “subject” refers to someone that you don’t know is guilty of committing a crime . According to the source, “target” indicates that there is “high likelihood” that a person has been charged with a crime.

The federal investigation into Hunter Biden was based in part on Suspicious Activity Reports, (SARs), regarding suspicious foreign transactions.

Another source familiar with the investigation told Fox News in December 2020 that the SARs were regarding funds from “China and other foreign nations.”

CNN has been reporting about it. This may indicate that CNN is approaching critical mass. CNN tends to ignore Hunter Biden stories whenever possible. CNN points out that false statements could include lying about the form in order to obtain a gun that we’ve previously covered.

CNN said that they are reducing it to tax charges and the firearm. That could give Joe Biden a pass if the bill doesn’t reach the foreign lobbying. This would be troubling.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-WI, expressed concern about the possibility of a plea deal with Hunter Biden. This would prevent any further investigation into Joe Biden’s foreign connections. We reported this week that more links were discovered between Joe Biden’s business associates and Hunter. These connections were in addition to Hunter’s worrying remarks about China and Russia. Joe has many connections, but how will they connect? We will have to see. It will be something I believe when it happens to me.
