Following the USCP’s arrest of 16 members of Congress over SCOTUS protest

, The Gloves are Off

A chaotic scene unfolded in front of The Supreme Court on Tuesday. On multiple occasions, the USCP issued warnings to the protestors blocking First Street NE and then made large numbers of arrests. It wasn’t just randomly, blue-haired pro-abortion activists who were led away this time.

According to the USCP, 16 members of Congress were also arrested. Although it is not known who they are, one glance at the social media can give some clues. Ilhan Omar is posing for cameras. She’s clearly one of the arrested number.

Today, I was detained while taking part in civil disobedience with fellow members of Congress who were outside the Supreme Court.

A timeline of events, as provided by law enforcement shows that both the protesters and congressional members were issued three warnings to leave the streets. Police arrived and they refused to comply.

We have given three of our warnings.

Some demonstrators refuse to leave the streets, so we’re making arrests.

UPDATE: We made a total of 34 arrests for Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding (DC Code SS 22-1307).

That arrest number includes 16 Members of Congress.

The biggest question is still what’s the point in protesting before the Supreme Court. The Justices have already overturned Roe v. Wade via the Dobbs decision. They cannot reverse the decisions they made, even though they wish to. There must be at least a lower court case that is compelling enough for it to be considered. This appears to not be in the near future. They don’t expect to achieve anything by their illegal protests. To push their story, they just want to be reported on how oppressed and arrested by the media.

Despite this, it’s still interesting to see the USCP move. Ocasio Cortez, who claimed they were helping to foment an “insurrection”, made the claim just days ago. She did so without any evidence, and there is plenty. Ocasio-Cortez has also been vehement in her criticisms of the USCP for putting her at risk and not protecting her. The latest incident was a shouting incident.

Remember when the USCP was proclaimed heroes due to January 6th? It seems that this was a quick failure. In an effort to make pro-abortion photos, Democrats now defy them.

Maybe department leadership was tired of giving “the squad” members free rein to trash people while ignoring the law. This feels like an escalation, regardless of what it may be. It doesn’t matter what the charges are if they don’t pursue them. And you can bet that the partisan DOJ will not do anything to the congressional members. It is unlikely that any penalties will be imposed here, according to my suspicions.
