Charlie Chaplin: Mabel’s Strange Case (1914).

A drunk tramp runs into Mabel in a hotel lobby. She is tied to her dog’s lead and then falls. Later, he ran into Mabel in the corridor of her hotel room. They ran through several rooms. Mabel eventually ends up in the bedroom of her elderly husband, where she hides beneath the bed. Mabel is soon attacked by her jealous husband and Mabel’s boyfriend, as well as the stupendously drunk tramp.
