White House Blamed by CNN, WaPo and Politico Reporters for Double-Dealing Comments

I reported Wednesday on the Whistling of Democratic Legislators and Political operatives about how awful it was dealing with White House. They feel “rudderless”, aimless and hopeless. Joe Biden has been missing action in addressing what must be done.

Biden is not the only one fleeing. Kate Bedingfield (White House communications director) has also fled. We noted that they made this unintentionally funny statement to Wall Street Journal: “Ms. Bedingfield will be leaving the White House by July 31st and “help support President and Administration from the Outside,” a White House official stated.” She is far away from the White House, where she can avoid the consequences.

The Biden team thinks that messaging is the issue and that they can fix it by changing the message. The real problem lies in the poor policies and incompetent leaders at the top. This must be the White House’s most incompetent team, and that is the reason why polls are so poor.

But messaging, like everything, is an issue. They’re even losing the liberal media to it.

Multiple outlets have been complaining about the White House’s handling of the Kate Bedingfield story.

Alex Thompson,

Politico journalist, revealed that the White House gave him the runaround when he called them. He told them he would break the news. They put him off and asked if they could take some time. They were granted the time that they requested and the story was relayed to the WSJ with a statement by Ron Klain, White House Chief Of Staff.

I called the White House at 2: 53pm to ask for comment and told them we were running it.
They wanted to spend more time with people.
They received it.
WSJ pubbed at 3: 11pm with a statement from Klain.

He dropped them by making a jokey comment: “Good luck to White House staffer that gets a 2-minute long deadline next time .”

The Biden cannot even communicate honestly with journalists, and yet they are supposed to run the country. Why would anyone trust what they have to say if they are double-dealing? It’s no surprise that the communications director has been fired. It is possible that Thompson was given the boot because Politico has been openly critical of the Administration.

But other reporters echoed the complaints from Thompson, indicating that this wasn’t just a one-time thing, but that this was a continuing issue dealing with the Biden team.

” This sounds familiar,” Tyler Pager, Washington Post White House reporter tweeted.

Alex Ward (Politico national security reporter) confirmed that the White House is doing this all. The. Time.”

“Bad form,” tweeted CNN White House correspondent Kate Bennett.

NBC News Senior Reporter Ben Collins said, “Sounds to them like they need a New Comms Director .”

Fellow Politico White House journalist Max Tani tweets, “If you’re not a commsperson, it’s your job to interfere for news outlets you prefer or have given the exclusive to …”

Thompson also tweeted Marianne LeVine, Betsy Woodruff Swan and Maggie Haberman from The New York Times, NPR’s Scott Detrow, and Justin Baragona of The Daily Beast.

The problem with messaging isn’t just the message, but also how Biden and his team make matters worse when they don’t have it right. They could replace Bedingfield. The problem isn’t with her. It flows from the top. They aren’t dealing with Americans honestly — journalists or citizens — because what they want to sell, a competent Joe Biden, isn’t real.

Sounds as if the house of cards has begun to collapse.
