The USCP Responds to a Man Who Throws Molotov Cocktails At Capitol Police

A man was caught throwing Molotov cocktails towards the US Capitol Police at Union Station, Washington DC on Wednesday. Union Station, which is located near the Capitol, is the biggest metro- and regional station in the region.

The officers were treated for minor injuries. A backpack containing two additional bottles of accelerant and two more was also recovered. This is according to the USCP statement, however there was something that caught my attention.

Is just a random man throwing Molotov cocktails like random men are prone. https://t.co/gC9opyIBuF

Let me clarify. Two Molotov cocktails were thrown at the US Capitol Police by a man. This caused injuries to two US Capitol Police officers. The USCP immediately responded, saying that the attacker wasn’t targeting either the Capitol or Supreme Court. Also, that the USCP wasn’t involved in any protests. They didn’t know this so quickly. Are they attempting to check the validity of all recent anti-abortion protests in the aftermath of Roe being overturned? This doesn’t sound even possible.

What are we supposed to think? That some random man threw Molotov cocktails towards Capitol Police, because that’s what random men do? This is absurd. Is this why the picture of this man is not everywhere? Julie Kelly points out that people who took selfies on January 6th are sent to years in solitary confinement, while this man is charged with assault. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up getting a sweet-heart deal like the two Antifa lawyers who torched a police car during the 2020 riots.

The issue is really here, and that’s why the USCP statement is so perplexing. This gives the impression that this country operates with two standards of justice. It is, in fact.

This happened in the capital of our country.

No arrests were made. They eventually arrested one man and let him plead disorderly conduct. https://t.co/hn9t3drTTu pic.twitter.com/Rua9nQX2oP

If you take Nancy Pelosi’s beer, you will be sent to prison. If you firebomb a police car, you get a reduced sentence. It’s not something anyone can trust, which is a bad thing. When it is leftwing, domestic terrorism can be treated with child gloves. The book should be thrown if it is rightwinger. The book should not be thrown. All domestic terrorist acts should be treated equally. Do you think that is too much?

We’ll learn more about the man who attempted to murder two US Capitol Police Officers. We might not, but that’s what it seems like when the attack isn’t “the narrative .”
