Shen Yun incites Miaoli Audience members

MIAOLI (Taiwan) – After seeing Shen Yun Performing Art, Yang Yung chair of Taiwan Wood Carving Association, said that “Shen Yun was amazing!” It is beautiful. It’s beautiful.”

Based in New York, Shen Yun a Chinese classical dance and music troupe that travels the world each year to delight audiences with their exhilarating performances.

Many audience members felt that the show had something that lifted and energized their spirits.

Mr. Yang attended Shen Yun ‘s debut performance in Miaoli the evening of July 5. He felt that the music and dance lifted the spirits after two years of pandemic.

” Our bodies and souls were given great comfort and healing,” he stated.

Floral Greetings

Shen Yun has visited Taiwan for 14 seasons but had never performed in Miaoli. The Miaobei Art Center was bursting with flowers on Tuesday night as Miaoli county magistrates and mayors and local legislators presented floral greetings for Shen Yun.

‘It’s a fabulous performance’

Hsu Ting-chen, a political consultant at the Taiwanese Executive Yuan, said: “[Shen Yun] is very moving.”

Mr. Hsu said that Chinese culture is profound, and people are proud of it. Shen Yun revives Chinese culture. This encourages believers to continue their faith in Gods and divinities and adheres to traditional values.

” We, Miaoli, have been very fortunate because Shen Yun decided to perform in our area. “It’s invaluble,” Mr. Hsu stated.

“We enjoyed the music, dance, and the digital backdrop–it’s a fabulous performance!”

‘Exquisite Costumes’

Sung Kuo-ding, Miaoli County councilor, said watching Shen Yun is like transcending time and space to different periods in history and experiencing the then culture and life.

“The interaction between the backdrop and dancers, the exquisite costumes, the perfect dancing, and the orchestra’s blending of Chinese and Western instruments. “… Shen Yun’s brilliant and powerful.” Mr. Sung commented.

‘ Rarely seen in the world

“The dances [of Shen Yun] display techniques that are rarely seen in the world. The stories the performers are telling are very inspiring,” said Lai Chang-hsiu, a national martial arts instructor.

Mr. Lai stated that Shen Yun had lifted him up: “The nature and purpose of humans is to be kind. It is important not to have too many wants. This is a chance for us to look at ourselves .”

Shen Yun will perform in Taipei from July 8 to July 10.
