Rep. Mayra Flowers Blames AOC for Being Out of Touch and Calls for Biden Administration to Stop Southern Border Influx

Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) won in the state’s 34th Congressional District in the special election. She will face Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX), who currently represents the 15th Congressional District, in the contest for the redrawn 34th Congressional District during the November midterm elections.

Flores met “The Ingraham Angle ” to talk about a variety of topics. One was Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY and how she is disconnected from the rest.

“AOC doesn’t represent the Hispanic Community; it certainly does not reflect Texas District 34 or who we are. We don’t worry about Washington nonsense Latinx. The cost of living, gas prices, food and health care are all things we worry about. This is what we worry about every day. It’s not like we wake up every morning and think about Washington. It’s just that they are so disconnected. It’s really sad because they think that the world revolves around Washington, D.C., and that’s really not the reality.”

Flores was referring to the left trying to push the term “Latinx” when Hispanics themselves have said “Latinx” offends them. As she pointed out, her attention has been on real problems that affect the residents of Texas District 34,, such as gas prices, health care and the cost of living.

She spoke out about her New York Times article on her. This was due to her campaign slogan “God Family Country .”

” I don’t care at all about The New York Times. They don’t know anything about me and my culture. Like I said, we’re all about God, Family, and Country, and that is who we are in South Texas … When we [Immigrants] decide to run for office, and we’re excited to promote our values, values that they are against … God and family values, so they hate it … I’m focused on the District that I’m running.”

Flores spoke also about the south border and criticized the Biden administration.

” The cartel is in control… It’s illegal to cross the border without paying thousands or thousands of dollars. And yes, there’s children and women coming into our country… But also a lot of horrible people, terrorists also coming into our country, putting the American people in danger… We do have a serious problem, but I do put the blame on the Biden administration.”

Flores was 6 years old when she came from Mexico to America. Her husband is a Border Patrol agent. Her husband, a Border Patrol agent, is her husband. Flores is a huge boost for the GOP’s efforts to win Hispanic voters during the midterms. The GOP has now the momentum it needs to win the House again in November.
