The song is the same. Another mass shooting. Gun-grabber Democrats demand that the Second Amendment rights for law-abiding gun owner be curtailed. Gun-grabber Democrats continue to remain silent as another deadly weekend unfolds in Chicago’s Southside. The song is still the same hypocritical, as hell.
The obvious question: What is the reason for the “gun crime”, histrionic response in the first case and not the second?
The equally obvious answer is: Mass shootings by white men with “assault weapons” fit the Democrat narrative perfectly. This drives the relentless drive to eliminate gun rights. While primarily black-on–black handgun gang-related murder does not, it has the potential to fuel the desire to remove gun rights.
Moreover, facts concerning the latter discredit the arguments of the left about the former.
Democrat lawmakers and strategists are “absolutely furious,” as reported by Politico, over the mass shooting at a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois — roughly 25 miles north of downtown Chicago — that left seven people dead and more than 30 wounded.
As Politico noted, Vice President Kamala Harris recited the Democrat schtick “perfectly .”

Uh-huh, Kamala. But what about 32 miles to the south of Highland Park, where the violent Southside streets run red with blood on a near-daily basis? Is there any outcry over “gun crimes”? Your president’s outcry? All of the Democrat Party. Your lapdog media? We’ve answered all your rhetorical questions.

Ironically – Stay with me here — Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering declared America “enslaved” to guns in the wake of Wednesday’s parade shooting. Jennifer Oliver O’Connell, my RedState colleague, reported that Rotering called for an end to all assault weapons (AKA scary-looking semiautomatic rifles).
We banned assault weapons in 2013 and we managed to survive litigation from the NRA all the way to the United States Supreme Court. A statewide ban would be great. Let’s face it, Indiana, Missouri and Wisconsin are all very near each other, so people often travel between states. This must be a nationwide effort. Our leadership must have the desire to end the violence.
Hang tight, we’re just getting started. So, Highland Park banned “assault weapons” in 2013. Yet the Highland Park shooter reportedly used a “high-powered rifle” that was similar to an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle to shoot up the Fourth of July parade. With all due respect, mayor, what difference does it make that AR-15s and similar firearms are legally available in other states? Your ban is so effective why did the shooter not follow Highland Park’s laws? Mayor, what’s your (should) have to say? Evil does not follow the law.
Meanwhile, what about the bloody streets of Chicago’s Southside?
While the fake histrionic Democrats are continuing to profit from the Highland Park shootings, how about the dangerous streets in Chicago’s Southside neighbourhood? What about gun crime? How did things pan out over Fourth of July weekend in Chicago? Here’s the down and dirty: At least 10 people died after being shot, and another 62 were wounded, in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend, according to Just the News.
Twelve wounded people were killed in three attacks that took place on the South and West sides of the city. Five shots were fired in West Garfield Park on Friday night, while five in Parkway Gardens early Monday morning. Three in Woodlawn shortly after midnight, just as fireworks displays and other Fourth of July activities ended Monday night.

A man was killed and six shots were fired while riding his bicycle around 4:45 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was declared dead. There have been no arrests.
A bullet apparently fired from the sky struck a 5-year-old boy in his backyard on Monday night. The boy was in good health and there were no arrests.
A 10-year-old boy was shot while sitting in his bedroom Sunday night. Bullets were shot through the side of his home in Englewood past 10: 30 p.m., according to investigators. In good health, the boy was transported to Chicago Comers Children’s Hospital.
A 90-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being shot in the abdomen Saturday morning in North Lawndale.

And so it continued. Every weekend it happens. But, Biden was gone. But where was Kamala Harris, the entire Democratic Party? Did you see CNN, MSNBC or the whole Democrat Party? Apart from waxing all-out hysterical about the Highland Park shooting and demanding stricter gun control legislation, they also advocated “assault rifles”, “weapons warfares,” and other such nonsense.
Never mind that the deranged, 22-year-old loser who legally purchased firearms, as reported by RedState, despite having had two previous encounters with law enforcement, attempting suicide in 2019, and a family member in 2019 saying the shooter threatened to “kill everyone.” Even worse, police removed 16 knives, a dagger, and a sword at the time, but found no probable cause to arrest.
The bottom line:
There is no organisation on earth more hypocritical that the Democrat Party.
Aside from claiming itself to be “the party of the children,” but also vehemently advocating abortion on demand until birth, the Democrat Party uses every mass shooting as an excuse for calling for tighter gun control laws. could not not be hypocritical, it could not have been more obscene.
The 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election: Let’s not blow either one, my fellow conservatives.
