We covered some social media coverage on Robert Crimo III who was taken into custody after the shooting at Highland Park in Illinois. Six people were killed, and at least 26 people were injured, during the attack.

His videos clearly indicated that he had some concerns about shootings and looked like he was contemplating it for some time. Whatever his political views, it was obvious that he has many ongoing problems.
Some pictures are floating around that make some people jump to conclusion that the Highland Park shooter, Illinois is Trump. He is seen in two photos, one at a Trump rally. He was also wearing the Trump flag. He is also seen wearing an FBI cap.

The one in the flag appears to be making a suicide attempt. The picture with him dressed up as “Where’s Waldo” seems to mock the Trump rally. That’s actually a play on a joke that Jimmy Kimmel made about Donald Trump. It’s certainly not something Trump supporters would do. Leftists are also known to protest at Trump rallies.
While anything can happen and we will have to wait to find out, all evidence points away from Crimo supporting Trump — including the multicolored hair and being a rapper.
He also has a rose tattooed to his neck and account. This is a popular socialist symbol although people can use roses without this symbolism.
But I believe the likes to his Awake.rip account on Twitter may be telling the story.

We’ll undoubtedly hear more about the story as it unfolds but these are good indicators of his potential position on the political spectrum.
But it is quite sad to see people on the left so concerned about trying to attack President Donald Trump rather than the victims and their families. Each mass shooting becomes a question of “who did it”, and an appeal to ban guns. This is far more important than condemning the crime and dealing with many of the mental issues involved. This is a sickening way to solve the true issues in these cases.
