In a text message only obtained by Daily Caller, Cassidy Hutchinson called the January 6 committee “bs”.
On February 1. Hutchinson wrote a message to an activist who has connections to First Amendment Fund. This group started is run by the American Conservative Union and helps Trump officials pay Jan. 6 attorneys’ fees. Matt Schlapp stated that Hutchinson sought assistance from CPAC through the First Amendment Fund. Schlapp said he is happy they did not end up assisting her because she was relaying White House “hallway gossip as fact.”
Ms. Hutchinson approached @CPAC for help through our First Amendment Fund which has helped J6 political victims defend themselves. It was a pleasure that we didn’t assist with her performance today. First person testimony does not include relaying WH gossip in the hallway. https://t.co/nfQbPshIju

In the text message, Hutchinson says: “Hey (redacted)! Cassidy Hutchinson. This is Cassidy Hutchinson. Although I was served with a subpoena in November, the committee waited until the last week to deliver me (after Ben’s deposition HTML1). I had to agree to service by the U.S. Marshalls who visited my home last Wednesday. I still haven’t made contact the Committee. Hutchinson said that she was just working within a time frame and trying to determine my options to address this matter.
In another text message reviewed by the Daily Caller, Hutchinson told the conservative activist that she does not want things to get “unnecessarily elevated” in regards to the Jan. 6 committee. (RELATED: Yet Another Detail From Bombshell J6 Testimony Contested)
