FACTCHECK: Is this image of Chrystia, Canadian Deputy Prime Minister, with a naked man?

The image is digitally edited. Original photo of Freeland and Carolyn Bennett looking at one another.

Fact Check:

The image appears to show Freeland and Bennett at a Pride parade pointing to a naked man standing between them with the word “Liberal” written across the man’s chest. “Meanwhile, Canada Deputy PM Freeland …. On the right… Celebrating at #pridetoronto,” is the caption.

The picture was digitally altered. A reverse image search revealed the photo first appeared on Bennett’s Twitter June 26. Bennett and Freeland were pointing at each other in the original photo, rather than an undress man.

The Twitter user who originally shared the image, George Hampton, published two tweets June 28 and 29 admitting the photo was a digital fabrication.

I don’t Photoshop images in order to mislead or fool people. This is just for fun. Recent ones with Freeland, the nude-pedo at freak parade seem to be getting more people asking if they are real. It wasn’t that great of a job. lol.

This isn’t the only time that a senior official from Canada has fallen for misinformation. Recently, Check Your Fact debunked an image that suggested Justin Trudeau was wearing socks with depictions of male reproductive organs.
